Your new role

This position is to drive sales growth and market leadership in Hand Protection and Lockout/Tagout solutions within the assigned region. This includes managing a designated territory and end user listing, fostering strong relationships with resellers and internal teams, identifying and capitalising on business development opportunities. The role requires proactive market analysis, strategic planning, and seamless collaboration.

  • Effectively manage assigned region and designated end user listing by setting and maintaining timely call cycles and comprehensive customer contact records.
  • Travel to sites and collaborate with operations teams, evaluate isolation points, and implement customised lockout/tagout solutions.
  • Identify competitor activity within the hand protection category and develop strategies to implement product or service improvements to maintain market leadership.
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales targets while supporting the team in achieving its overall goals.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with major resellers, coordinating quarterly updates to align goals and performance.
  • Support customers at trade shows/activations as required.
  • Ensure open and proactive communication with all stakeholders.
  • Deliver high customer satisfaction and grow key accounts.
  • Accurately report sales activities, forecasts, and ensure compliance.

  • Experience within the Industrial Safety industry & well networked throughout Australia
  • Strong influencing, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and planning capability
  • Demonstrated analytical thinking
  • Creative, driven and motivated with solid sales experience
  • A strong understanding and commitment to value-added sales, including an understanding of pricing and margins and their business impact
  • Ability to negotiate complex sales at senior levels
  • Ability to travel interstate on a regular basis and to work with stakeholders at all levels
