Construction of the facility where 246 new C-series railcars for Perth's rail network will be built, tested and maintained for decades to come is now underway.
A program underway to deliver 246 locally-built electric railcars for the Transperth network, plus six diesel railcars to replace the Australind is intensifying, according to the rollingstock project director.
