Responsibilities

As the Business Development Manager, you’ll work directly with the Directors to identify and secure new project opportunities. You’ll partner closely with the estimating and marketing teams to develop and deliver successful proposals across a wide range of design & construct, fitout, and construction projects (values typically between $500K–$20M).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, architects, and consultants
  • Identify and pursue project opportunities through ECI, D&C, and hard dollar tenders
  • Collaborate with the estimating team to prepare winning submissions
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and reporting in the CRM
  • Represent the business at industry and networking events
  • Support marketing initiatives in and input into the new company website launch

Your Profile

You’ll bring a strong background in commercial construction or fitout business development, with the confidence to drive growth in a dynamic, relationship-focused environment.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven success winning projects in the $1M–$15M+ range
  • Existing industry network within NSW construction markets
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset and ability to work autonomously
  • A positive, down-to-earth attitude that fits a no-HR, team-first culture

Nice to have:

  • Experience across one of these sectors (hospitality, education, student accommodation, hotels, fitouts)
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as Pipedrive
