Powerbox Australia is seeking a commercially minded, dynamic, and positive Business Development Manager to take business to the next level!
If you’re strong in sales, enjoy tracking projects, influencing specifications, building relationships, and winning business, this role is built for you.
Reporting to the GM | Sales, this position blends technical capability with commercial acumen to achieve results. Your head office is in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs, where ownership, opportunity, and support will set you up for success.
As our BDM, you’ll identify opportunities, build strong customer relationships, and guide projects from start to finish, leveraging our internal teams’ expertise to deliver outstanding solutions.
The Brief:
In this role, you’ll drive business across the Rail, Telecom, and Industrial sectors, using commercial insight and a practical approach to deliver DC power solutions that keep critical industries moving. You’ll create tailored solutions, expand the opportunity pipeline, and lead initiatives that differentiate Powerbox in the market.
Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Qualifications: Mechatronics or Electrical qualifications essential.

Industry knowledge: Experience in relevant sectors, with insight into how DC power solutions support and enhance operations.

Communication: Exceptional communicator with strong problem-solving skills.

Negotiation & Sales: A minimum of 3 years’ experience in business development.

Motivation: Focused and determined with a drive to succeed.
