The Ichthys LNG Project has secured Major Project Facilitation status from the Federal Government based on plans to pipe gas offshore to processing facilities in Darwin.
The Northern Territory Government has approved the Ichthys LNG Project declaring that the environmental impacts of the development in Darwin can be managed within acceptable limits.
The Territory Government has shortlisted three proponents to compete for the right to build, own and operate a Marine Supply Base (MSB) adjacent to Darwin’s East Arm Wharf.
