Job Description

As the Business Development Manager you will be heavily involved in the acquisition and spearheading of new demolition and civil contracts (in particular tier 2 construction company contracts), playing a crucial role in furthering business growth. You will be responsible for building client relationships, contract negotiation, and leading a team to develop strategies to achieve business goals and objectives.

Qualifications / Skills

The ideal candidate will posess the following;

  • Certificate IV in demolition.
  • 5+ years of experience working on demolition and decommissioning projects.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards within the construction and demolition industry.
  • Relevant demolition licenses (restricted/unrestricted).
  • Experience in contract and client negotiation.
  • Confidence and strong communication skills.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Client/contract negotiation.
  • Tender document preparation.
  • Providing financial project advice.
  • Tracking project progress.
  • Management of HSEQ issues.
  • Provide project leadership and ensure project delivery to a high standard, on budget, and in compliance with all relevant legislation.
  • Prepare and submit business claims, invoices etc.
  • Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders of the business.
