Highly driven and resilient, the Business Development Manager will build and deliver a strong pipeline of prospects, whilst continuing to nurture and support existing business on a national scale.

Supported by an accomplished leader, you will utilise your knowledge of the OE market to develop deep, trust-based relationships with OEM clients including some of the biggest names in the automotive sector (OEM truck, trailer, and car manufacturers).  Commercially inclined will ensure that you provide a solution that is aligned with business objectives and customer demand, translating technical requirements into tailored compliant, future-focused solutions to life.

Hands-on and collegial in your approach, you will work cross functionally, playing a pivotal role in expanding our market presence and solution offering that will accelerate growth. Harnessing the commitment to customer value and service excellence you will appreciate the autonomy to make this role your own.

What will give you the competitive advantage?

  • Demonstrated experience in business development or sales within OE automotive or Heavy Industrial environment

  • Formal qualifications in Engineering or related discipline (optional)

  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in pricing frameworks, managing tenders, and contracts

  • Solid understanding of automotive electrical or mechanical engineering principles

  • Familiarity with PPAP processes, compliance, and quality systems (highly desirable)

  • Proven success in complex account management and solution-based sales

  • Energised by a customer focused, consumer driven business with a strong and innovative team culture

  • Strong commercial acumen, with negotiation and presentation expertise

  • Ability to travel as required
