A Request for Proposal (RFP) process has begun for a new train station, bus interchange and car park in the Peel region with construction starting 2021.
The operator of a coal export terminal in the Hunter Valley has plans to optimise the facility to increase capacity from current approved capacity from 66 million tonnes per annum (Mtpa) to 79 Mtpa.
