A letter of intent has been issued for the award of the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract for a gold project in Papua New Guinea.
A sulphate of potash project 160km south east of Newman that will create 80 jobs during construction and employ around 50 full-time workers over its 30 year life has been granted major project status.
The Federal Government has awarded major project status to a vanadium project that will create 400 direct construction jobs and a further 200 ongoing jobs.
