UNDERGROUND SERVICES have delivered a wide range of projects across Australia, including the following noteworthy achievements;
ROY HILL FIBRE OPTIC BACKBONE INSTALLATION FOR ANSALDO STS. This scope includes approximately 400 kms of fibre optic cabling for the Roy Hill mine.
STATE UNDERGROUUND POWER PROGRAM for Western Power. Working hand-in-hand to deliver underground power to WA since the Program's inception in 1996.
RAIL CAPACITY ENHANCEMENT PROJECT (333Mtpa) for Rio Tinto Iron Ore. Scope included installation of fibre optic cabling, terminating and jointing, materials supply and testing and commissioning
RGP6 JIMBLEBAR FOR BHP BILLITON. Scope of works included supply and installation of water, waste water, slurry, electrical and communications infrastructure as part of BHP Billiton's mine expansion project at Jimblebar new Newman, W.A.
ALCOA SERVICES 275 MYARA FOR ALCOA. Scope included the installation of process water, potable water, power and fibre optic communication infrastructure.
NANNUP - BRIDGETOWN WATER SUPPLY SCHEME FOR THE WATER CORPORATION. Scope of works comprised 27m of 300mm diameter PVC pipe with a number of major road and river crossings needed to be undertaken using trenchless technology.
MUMBIDA WIND FARM FOR VERVE ENERGY. The scope of works included trenching, HV and fibre optic cable installation, backfilling and HV termination works, through use of two EcoPloughs working simultaneously.
MANDURAH GAS LATERAL FOR ATCO GAS. Scope of works included installation of a 20km high pressure gas pipeline, passing through a major river and other environmentally sensitive areas.

Mobile Crushing and Screening Facilities Cape has one of the largest fleet of track mounted Crushing and Screening Facilities in the Southern Hemisphere and can offer primary, secondary or tertiary stage crushing of various products requested by the client. The fleet is diesel driven and generally is unloaded, set up and producing product within hours of mobilising to site. Cape management has knowledge and expertise of different mineral types within Australia. In conjunction with access to Cape’s crushing and screening programs, they can set up and simulate crushing and screening configurations and operating parameters to achieve the best possible outcome of a product aligned with the client’s requirements.
Modular Crushing and Screening Facilities Cape can offer a service where long term crushing and screening facilities can be designed, built, owned, operated and maintained to client requirements. The modular crushing facility can be set up at low capital expenditure and can be demobilised as the valued clients dynamic circumstances change to another preferred location for ease and ultimately greater savings in processing costs.
Cape management has a combined 60 years of experience with these types of crushing and screening facilities and know how costly they can be if the incorrect maintenance and operating systems are not in place.
As nationally accredited training systems is part of Cape’s journey to providing Zero Harm in the workplace, Cape have in-house expertise to customise and develop procedures to suite any process that will Safely maximum availability and utilisation.
Safe Construction of Tailing Storage Facilities For over 15 years, Cape has Safely and successfully completed many Tailing Storage Facility construction projects in and around the Pilbara and Goldfields. These projects have been a combination of both new construction where material has been imported in from specific area around the leases and construction utilising the existing tailings that has been deposited into and existing storage facility. Tailing Storage Facilities are an integral part of many processing facilities, fortunately Cape management have a very good understanding of this and know how important is for the client to get these facilities constructed in a Safe and timely manner and ensuring the structural integrity is never compromised. Although Cape have constructed all of their Tailing Storage Facilities autonomously, Cape has always communicated very closely with both the client and the client’s engineer ensuring they are kept informed of the daily Safe production and project schedules. Whatever the Tailing Storage Facility construction requirements are Cape will ensure the most Safe and cost effective plant is utilised. These would include low ground pressure tracked machines including excavators and dozers for the wet type lifts and for the narrow wall uplift construction or rock armouring for the batters, the six-wheeled articulated Ejector type dump trucks would be utilised to reduce the risk of unforeseeable incidents occurring.
Mine Site Services Cape is able to offer a variety of Safe services on site with a diversified fleet of machinery, operated by and experienced Supervisors and Team members. The services required by the client can be Safely provided on customised terms that have mutual benefits. Mining and Civil Earthworks
Cape has had a proven track record to deliver both large and small projects in accordance with the design drawings provided by the clients. With the experience of Cape Project Managers it not unusual for our clients to Team Cape members to discuss the project builds design before final drawings are complete and disseminated for construction. Cape have contributed knowledge on many projects to the client delivering significant cost savings.

Geology and Exploration Cape have qualified personnel who have been trained in all areas required enabling them to Safely operate in remote areas autonomously. Some of the areas that our members are exposed to a very remote so Team Cape has very strict protocols in place ensuring the Safety of our Team.
Heavy Haulage, Ore Cartage and Logistics Cape’s fully accredited trucking fleet provides safe transport, superior service throughout the state of Western Australia. Cape supports a group of dedicated truck operators, trained in all aspects of machinery transport up to 60 tonne, ore cartage using roadtrains and freight distribution with our B-double configuration. We aim to provide an efficient and safe service incorporating regular maintenance schedules and fatigue management systems to achieve minimum downtime and maximum quality of service. We specialise in moving all difficult and expensive mining equipment including mill motors, gear boxes, flotation cells and miscellaneous machinery.
Installation of Borefield Pipework For the past six years our project management team at Cape have delivered Safe quality dewatering projects through the transport, welding and installation of poly pipe. There has been an installation of approximately 250 kilometres of various sized pipe between several operations within the Goldfields and Pilbara districts. Team Cape have assisted our clients with simplifying designs and procurement of dewatering pipeline parts over the years ensuring they are getting value for money.
