Services
TMS are capable of completing quality maintenance, inspections and construction in the following areas; • All drive train components on mechanical equipment including but not limited to milling drives, crushing drives, conveyor drives, pump drives and thickener drives. • Onsite bearing replacements including but not limited to spherical roller bearing on conveyor drums, trunions on mills, pinioned on mills. • Precision measurements on gears and other drives of mechanical equipment such as, pinion to girth gear checks radial and axial run outs of gears, contact and backlash of gears, root gap clearances of gears, recorded measurements of wear on gears, MPI checks on gears. • Sub soul and soul plate repairs or installs, such as on site machining of plates, re grouting of plates, which are all installed with today's precision horizontal linear laser aligning equipment. • Inspections and change outs of HSB bearings and thrust bearings eg: trunions on milling equipment. This would include onsite scraping and bluing of bearings, with full measurement checks and alignment. • Pinion and girth gear reversal eg: Milling equipment. (Once a mill girth gear has reached its manufacturers suggested life span, which can vary. It needs to be reversed to offer a new driving face). • Crusher maintenance and inspections eg: hydro sets, bush change outs, vault repairs and inspections in spiders and upper and lower bushes in main frames, also liner change outs, be it gyratory crushers, high pressure grinding rollers (HPGR), jaw crushers, cone crushers and rotary crushers. • Conveyor maintenance, installs and inspections. Such as trough roller, return roller and impact roller changes/installs. All drive inspections and installs (gearboxes, couplings, electric motors, conveyor drums). This also involves all of the installs and alignment of the structural steel components. • Screen maintenance and installs. This includes installs of screens and all of the structural steel components surrounding. Mechanical maintenance of screens, be it springs, exciter gearboxes and motors, linear screen clothes, screen mats, bearing change outs of rollers and modifications. • Floatation vessels and drives, which include installs of all components of vessels and maintenance such as barrel changes, motor changes, shaft and impeller changes. This also includes all launder installs and pipe work. • Installation of process water, slurry, sump and centrifugal pumps which includes soul plate and grout of base plate’s pumps and drives and all pipe work including structural steel surroundings. • Maintenance on pumps including changing of wet ends, pipe work, electric motors, bearing barrels, couplings and also realignment of all drive components • Thickener installation and maintenance. Such as, installs of drives, rakes, pumps and structural components of these vessels. Maintenance on drive motors and ring gears, structural integrity of the vessels maintenance. • We can also provide a wide variety of precision measuring equipment such as laser alignment technology, (vertical, horizontal, linear alignments) vibration analysis equipment. Both pieces of measuring equipment give a detailed print out of their findings, these pieces of equipment are operated by trained and competent personnel. • We have on offer a number of highly skilled boilermakers/welders and fitters, which offer great expertise in any site modifications. This is ideal for clients that have recently finished the construction phase of new equipment or are operating on a new site. All personnel operate efficiently and with a quality scope of mind. • All aspects of mine site welding and fabrication in the way of all fabrication, projects, maintenance, pipe work, construction and demolition, asset integrity (corrosion control), mobile maintenance and refurbishments. We have a fully equipped workshop on Geraldton to service a range of industries.
Project Experience, track record
Client: Silverlake Resources & BNM Group Site: Tukabianna Project: General Maintenance, De-commissioning & Re-commissioning From February 2014 through to August 2014 Silverlake Resources requested TMS to supply a group of highly skilled maintenance crew to assist with the general maintenance of the mine. TMS supplied a crew of 8 to assist with these tasks, which included a Planner, Fitters, Boilermakers, Leading Hands and Wesley himself as a Maintenance Supervisor. This crew then stayed on to manage and take part in the De-Commissioning of the mine; these works were completed by August 2014. As of January 2015 BNM Group leased the de-commissioned mine site. BNM made contact with TMS to request that we re-commission the mine site. To date we supply a maintenance and specialised crew to BNM Group.
Client: Newmont Site: Boddington Gold Mine Project: October 2014 Shutdown During the month of October TMS supplied a crew of 33 personnel for the duration of 14 days to complete a list of works, which Newmont had set out for TMS. During our time at Boddington we completed the below tasks at a very high standard; • Change Ball Mill Motors on 3B & 4B • Motor A Change on CV001 • Ball Mill Discharge and Trunion liner change out • Trommel and Magnet Change out on Ball Mill 4 • Drive Train Alignment on CV008
Client: Karara Mining Site: Geraldton Port Project: Ongoing Work - Shift Coverage, Specialised and General Works To date we supply all shift coverage for Karara, we also conduct a variety of works during there scheduled shutdowns and undertake all there specialised work such as laser aligning and precision measuring.
Client: MMG Site: Golden Grove Project: Ongoing Work - Shift Coverage, Specialised and General Works To date we supply some shift coverage for MMG, we also conduct a variety of works during there scheduled shutdowns and undertake all there specialised work such as laser aligning and precision measuring.
Client: Mt Gibson Iron Ore Site: Geraldton Port and Extension Hill Project: Ongoing Work – Specialised and General Works TMS conduct motor change outs, laser alignment and any general maintenance works required both onsite and in our workshop.
Client: CBI Site: Cayeli Turkey Project: Consultation In April 2013 TMS travelled to Turkey to consult with CBI on various works. This included various alignment checks on girth gear and pinions, lift and clearance checks on Trunion HSB and repairs to pinion drive face.
Client: Newmont Site: Boddington Gold Mine Project: Motor and Pinion Replacement In October 2012 Wesley successfully supervised the pinion and motor change out, this is the largest ball mill in the southern hemisphere.
