Project Shipping Pty Ltd

Project Shipping Pty Ltd was established in January 1984 for the purpose of servicing companies with special requirements for shipments of project cargoes world wide.

Project Shipping specialises in the shipment of heavy lifts, mining machinery, plant machinery, rolling stock, pipes, locomotives, bulk sand parcels, bulk grain cargoes, bagged coffee, cocoa and grains, marble blocks, sawn timber, lumber and logs and many other difficult break bulk cargoes not suitable for the regular container lines.

The company has vessels at its disposal at any time capable of lifting any type of cargoes from and to any port in the world.

The Directors

Captain Tor Berge

With over 45 years in the shipping industry both at sea and on shore, Tor is a Master Mariner with extensive experience including operating vessels, chartering, shipbroking, port captaincy and shipping agency.

Haakon Heggelund

With over 35 years in the shipping industry in Europe, USA and Australia, Haakon has extensive experience as operator of Shipowners tonnage, chartered tonnage on a worldwide basis acting as shipping consultant, broker, agent and supervisor.

Project Management

Project Shipping offer "turn key" operation and full supervision from site to site including road transport, documentation, coordination and full port captaincy supervising the loading, stowing, lashing and securing, and unloading of the cargo to ensure that the equipment is received by the buyers in the same manner as it was dispatched from the origin.
