This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced Senior Civil Engineer who is looking to move forward in their career. As Project Development Manager, you will take CPB to a marker leading position across a variety of sectors across the state. The Role

Reporting to the South Australian Manager and based here in Adelaide, you will be fully integrated into CPB's Victoria, South Australia and Tasmania business unit. As the Project Development Manager you will be responsible for the growth of CPB's brand, value proposition and market position in South Australian target sectors, including transport infrastructure (road & rail), resources, defence and building. Further responsibilities include building strategic external relationships with clients and partners, fostering strategic relationships with key internal stakeholders, plan CPB's forward works, development and delivery of tender win plans o budget, support of their tenders and projects through challenging and driving opportunity, managing risk and ensuring continuous development, as well as identifying, developing and converting target opportunities in line with CPB's strategic plan. 

The Like Mind

Proven experience in a similar role in major project construction and/or design which is relevant to CPB's workbook will hold you in good steed. A tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business or similar is essential. The main function of this role is to ensure the CPB brand is in a market leading position and as such, you will need to be an outstanding and impressive communicator, influencer and negotiator. Solid knowledge of the South Australian market, coupled with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain trusting relationships is essential. Demonstrated leadership ability, strategic thinking, an outcome focussed outlook, strong commercial acumen with business development, bidding and/or project delivery experience and a self starting approach will ensure your success in this highly coveted role.
