Aquatic Leisure Technologies is Western Australia’s leading fibreglass swimming pool manufacturer and has been a WA owned and operated family company for over 43 years.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated and forward-thinking Operations Manager to lead our Operations division to deliver our customers with a superior swimming pool experience.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the management of compliance, scheduling, engineering, customer service, site installation and service works. The role will ensure all works are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and to the highest industry standards. Duties of this role include but are not limited to:
A key focus on safety.
Managing employee and contractor network requirements to deliver capacity targets.
Managing staff related matters including recruitment, on-boarding, training & development, evaluating & performance management where needed.
Assessing staff performance & provide coaching/guidance to ensure maximum efficiency.
Customer relationship management, conflict management and resolution.
Championing process improvement initiatives.
Planning & coordinating administrative procedures & systems, devising ways to streamline processes.
Develop and execute business cases for departmental investment and growth.
Developing strategic plans and creating an environment where staff progress.
Manage department costs & expenses working in line with the Company Budget.
Attention to detail with an ability to multi-task and troubleshoot
Evaluate and report on departmental KPI’s and dashboards.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Strong experience in the leadership and mentoring of multi-functional teams.
Understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management.
Ability to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
An outcomes focused and innovative approach.
Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills.
Sound computer knowledge: intermediate to advanced level of Microsoft Office
