The General Manager will report to the Managing Director and our external Accountant. The General Manager will have full accountability for the operational and financial performance of the business, including a strong focus on excellent customer relationships including the drive to increase customer turnover and maintaining exceptional standards for existing customers.
Candidates interested in considering this position must demonstrate an extensive and highly accomplished track record in successfully leading and managing an enterprise engaged in the building and construction industry. Your OHS is to be maintained to the highest standard, with a strong focus on organisation culture and employee safety. The General Manager will need to have the capability to manage and lead employees and support them to exceed their KPI’s.
The General Manager will be responsible for managing all accounts and authorising payments including, employee wages and weekly procedures to ensure invoicing can be undertaken on a weekly basis.
You should have a contemporary knowledge of the major WA building and construction companies. The interpersonal and communication skills to deal effectively with a range of stakeholders is essential. Tertiary qualifications related to manufacturing or engineering, and post-graduate qualifications in business are preferred.
Just as important are your skills in strategic leadership, ability to drive business improvement, develop and nurture business relationships and drive a sales culture. We seek a commercially focused leader who can take this already highly successful business to the next level.
