Contracts Administrator
Design and Build recruitment have been engaged by a well known national builder to assist in the search and selection of a Contracts Administrator
This is a business that have a 20+ year history of both development and construction across; industrial and mixed use retail.
Building a great reputation of high quality delivery, repeat clients and excellent sub-contractor relationships.
This position will be based in Brisbane and will see the successful candidate initially working on a large scale industrial project, which will include, office space and retail tenancies
They are now looking for an experienced Contracts Administrator to join their team and work on a number of Industrial projects valued up to $50M. The ideal candidate will have experience working on Industrial projects (e.g. Warehouses, Distribution Centres, Cold Storage, etc).
As the Contracts Administrator you will be responsible for:
- Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
- Progress claim assistance and external variations
- Review, negotiation and finalisation of subcontracts
- Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
- Administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
- Administration of the project HSE system
To be considered for the position of Contracts Administrator you will require:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Contracts Administrator for a Head Contractor in Australia
- Industrial experience preferable
- Timberline experience highly regarded
- Experience of working on Commercial projects in Australia
- Strong attention for detail and proven communication skill
