About us

Onefin is a boutique commercial development business based in Camp Hill. We deliver high quality blue-chip developments for household brands right across Australia. Our team are specialists in finding, scoping, purchasing and developing property based on specific requirements of our national and multi-national tenants. 

We work with well-known brands such as 7-Eleven, Mobil, McDonalds, Total Tools, Bridgestone, Yokohama, Chemist Warehouse, Goodlife Childcare. 

With a large pipeline of sites to develop we’re boosting our team with the addition of a Cadet Development Manager who will work closely with our highly experienced development team.

 

About the role

You will have the opportunity to work for a private developer who will give you exposure that will kickstart your career in commercial property development. 

Gain hands on real experience in day-to-day deals, negotiations, procurement and management of property with big brands. 

This is a newly created role requires a high calibre individual with a passion to build a property development career. 

Ideally you will be studying your 3rd or 4th year in construction, project management, engineering, town planning, architecture or associated degree. 

You will work in a team who have a clear focus on delivering high quality results across specific sectors, clientele, and project values. 

 

About you 

You will be a driven and passionate individual who wants to apply their tertiary learnings into real world experience. 

You will also need to communicate well and be able to liaise with a variety of team members and external stakeholders such as architects, engineers, planning consultants, local authorities, builders and tenants. 

 

Responsibilities 

This role will gain experience in:

• Management and updating of feasibilities as the development and delivery stages progress

• Taking ownership of planning outcomes or amendments ensuring all regulations are adhered to

• Ensuring consultants are carefully managed to deliver appropriate outcomes

• Preparation of tender/contract documentation, ensuring that the risk profile is minimised

• Management of the delivery process, including oversight of external contractors

• Assisting in project completion and settlement process including coordinating defects

• Working with the senior management team 

Skills & Experience 

Ideal candidates will:

• Be able to work autonomously and as part of a team

• Communicate and consult effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• Have strong communication and presentation skills

• Conduct yourself with a high level of professionalism, honesty and integrity

• Be currently studying a tertiary degree in a relevant development / property discipline, such as construction, engineering, town planning, architecture, etc
