The successful candidate will join the Commercial Division located at LSC’s Head Office in North Melbourne, with the opportunity to work remotely as required. You will be one of the primary business contacts for LSC Commercial Hardware clients in the Building and Construction Industry. Your focus will be providing administration, scheduling and management to clients, customers, and staff on a project-by-project basis to ensure all project requirements are meet and delivered accurately on time.
Your broad responsibilities will include.
Provide support in following up quotations and/or tenders to builders/contractors.
Maximize sales opportunities through successful time management.
Grow the business with existing customers through raising awareness of LSC and its products particularly in the building industry.
Review the data from the BCI reports and provide other market feedback to the team.
Provide ongoing sales support to existing customers.
Liaise with builders, architects, and supervisors to ensure products supplied are consistent with floor plans or schedules.
Attend site meetings when required to provide consultation and to promote existing and new hardware opportunities .
Promote and develop new business opportunities , whilst providing ongoing sales support.
To be successful in the role you will possess the following:
A minimum 2 years experience in Commercial /Wholesale Hardware or related business - dealing with Trade or Builders accounts an advantage.
Strong project management skills and thrive working in a fast paced and environment.
Must be able to read, understand and accurately interpret floor plans and specifications.
P.C literate with reasonable skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Exceptional telephone manner.
Accurate data entry skills and the ability to work effectively within a busy and dynamic work environment.
Excellent customer service skills and pride themselves on building strong customer relationships.
