Aerotek are currently supporting an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager with a technical background to join a well-established/ reputable Civil contractor. This role would suit someone who has field experience, looking to make a strategic shift into a client facing role.
Lead the charge on identifying new market opportunities within Civil Construction.
Interface with new and existing clients and estimator team
Assist with existing clients needs and find innovative solutions beneficial for all parties
Review current market strategy and areas for business increase
Review and analyse profit and loss statements/ forecastrs
Review current product offering and put your mark on potential new offerings to assist clients
Grow revenue in construction as well as product sales
Attend and present at varied industry events
Advocate for the business in all interactions and open doorways for upcoming work across multiple market sectors
We are searching for a Civil Engineer with strong commercial acumen and a passion for innovation who is looking to make a strategic shift to a Client facing interface/ sales role.
Civil Engineering Degree
Passion for innovation
Previous technical experience in Civil Infrastructure
Previous experience in client engagement/ senior stakeholder interaction
Experience in sales (B2B environment preferred)
Great commercial acumen
Previous experience of leading and managing a team
