A top Construction Brokerage firm are continuing to grow out their Business Development department again and are looking for an upcoming, young gun to drive their Builders Warranty product to market.

Already the largest privately-owned Insurance brokerage outfit in Victoria, this company now plan on being the biggest in NSW.  

The team is built up of long lasting, credible and well networked Brokers whom have been responsible for developing, managing and diversify the largest Construction portfolios in the market.  

They now have opening to work within the Construction space for someone who is looking to manage, grow and diversify what is already (based on last 3 years figures) a profitable book of business.    

Key responsibilities

As well as quoting, processing new business and various administrative tasks you will be looked at to understand market trends and develop solutions to meet market needs and changes. 

Responsible for using past / current relationships to go to market with and develop business prospects and build your portfolio. 

Assist with the execution of department and portfolio objectives/growth. 

Build and maintain internal and external relationships by creating solutions to meet the needs of internal and external customers. 

Deliver specialised product knowledge to all teams. 

Work closely with their insurer partners and networks. 

Have relevant knowledge of the market, regarding broker networks product.  

Key requirements

Experience in Business Development and/or Relationship Management in a Broking capacity and ideally within Construction.  

Proven ability administratively and interpersonally.  

Demonstrable success driving performance for results and performance culture.  

Enthusiasm and accountability for portfolio management/growth with a desire to self-manage and develop as a Broker.  

Tier one insurance broking qualifications would be great. A Diploma in Insurance Broking would prove advantageous.
