My client specialises in various consulting practices and technical solutions to the mining, civil and commercial construction industries. They boast a great company culture and are constantly looking for ways to innovate and shake up the marketplace. Due to growth, an opportunity has arisen to join the Sydney team as the Business Development Manager and lead the growth and expansion in QLD.

The Position

In this Brisbane-based role, you, as Business Development Manager, will report directly to the National Manager.

Your duties will include:

  • Identifying and creating new business opportunities within your territory
  • Meet and exceed agreed sales targets
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
  • Managing the CRM reporting system
  • Implementing sales strategies based on customer needs

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will be hardworking, autonomous, and very much consider themselves a HUNTER. They will have an eye for identifying and converting new business opportunities and, ideally, will have proven experience and relationships in the construction space. The candidate will also need to have the ability to nurture the already impressive existing list of client relationships. 

In return, you will be paid an industry-leading base salary and superannuation. You will also receive a car allowance and tools of the trade, including a laptop and mobile phone. All travel requirements will be fully funded in advance by our client. You will be paid a lucrative commission structure that is equitable and achievable.
