TMS Consulting is currently representing an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to work for progressive and award-winning Global OEM. Our client designs and manufactures a diverse range of processing equipment that is utilised in the Construction, Quarrying, Mining and Environmental industries and they are now looking to expand their team in Australia with a seasoned Business Development professional. The incumbent will be responsible for growing existing customer sales throughout Australia (both directly and through the growth of solid partnerships), as well as closing existing opportunities and developing new leads together with generating new business.
Responsibilities will encompass:
Achieve revenue targets and business objectives within the region.
Identification, profiling, analysis and implementation of new business opportunities in the Australian market.
Contribute to the on-going planning and development of the company’s sales, marketing and business development strategies.
Build customer relationships to effectively manage the full sales cycle.
Interpret customer requirements and create solutions using the technical and commercial resources available within the company.
Manage Public Relations and Promotional activity undertaken by the company and help to build brand awareness and demonstrate Unique Selling Points.
Effectively communicate the technical ability of company products to potential customers.
Assist with after-sales queries, investigate customer complaints and ensure that they are dealt with to the customers’ satisfaction.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Business Development Capacity selling capital equipment / aggregate/mineral processing equipment
Well networked in the Mining and Quarry industries
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to effectively articulate the technical facets of the equipment
High degree of computer literacy.
Ability to work flexible hours and travel if necessary.
