Business Development Manager - engineering - Sydney

The BDM will be responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with customers in the power service market within the APAC region. Regions of focus will be Australia, New Zealand, Papua NG. The BDM will be involved in the execution phase of projects including helping support execution of complex service projects such as full turnkey service.

Responsibilities:

  • Visit customer sites and establish connections with power plants across the APAC regions
  • Understand competition and develop strategies on how to win against them
  • Understand the companies products and services and how they can be distributed in the region
  • Identify opportunities and collaborate with companies technical centres to develop solutions
  • Be involved in negotiations and closing of deals
  • Complete technical presentations related to the companies products and services in support of business development activities
  • Support and collaborate with other business units as needed

Requirements:

  • 10+ years technical experience in power generations products and services
  • 5+ years in business development role in power service field
  • Bachelor in Engineering
  • Strong Australian Network in the region
  • Proven sales and negotiation skills
