This is an outstanding opportunity to join a unique Tooling company incorporated in South Australia in 1982. The company’s core business is the design, project management and manufacture of Press Tools, Plastic Injection Moulds, Jigs & Fixtures, Precision Machining (CNC Milling, CNC Turning) and Special Purpose Machinery. Since it’s inception the company has grown from an owner operator run business into a highly respected company that now employs thirty people.

We are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team located in Wingfield.

Reporting to the Project Manager, your role will involve managing an existing portfolio of accounts whilst developing new accounts.

Your technical knowledge within the Engineering and or Defence industry will find you responsible for the following duties:

Establish and maintain relationships at an executive level with target accounts

Build effective business relationships by developing sales strategies with key decision-makers

Prospect new business and quality leads

Maintain an effective pipeline of new business prospects

Understanding customer needs and requirements

To be successful in the position you will need the following:

A background in Engineering or Defence highly regarded

Demonstrated success in winning new business

Results orientated and KPI driven

Ability to build solid internal and external stakeholder relationships

Planning, organisation and time management skills

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

The ability to demonstrate a proven track record in achieving targets and developing key accounts

Focused on closing sales
