Focused on the sale of Building Management Systems, this role will involve the identification and conversion of new business leads. The successful candidate will primarily be working with consultancies, builders, contractors and end-users in order to promote the BMS solution. This will involve business development (cold and warm leads), quoting, tendering, tender take-offs and presentations to promote full turn-key BMS solutions with the company providing system design, installation, project management and maintenance services.
To be successful in this role you will ideally have had experience of sales in a similar BMS or M&E building services environment. You will have a proven ability to estimate and quote work and tender for projects. Ideally, you will have completed qualifications in either mechanical or electrical engineering and have previous experience in the engineering of BMS and/or M&E building services, such as HVAC. You will be able to read technical drawings/schematics and will be solutions-focused in your sales approach.
An exceptional & proven sales capability and understanding of value-based, solution led sales
Experience of selling technical, full turn-key solutions, ideally in the BMS sector (though consideration will be given to those with a background in technical sales in an M&E building services environment, such as HVAC / air conditioning, lighting controls etc.)
Experience working with a range of clients including end-users, Facility Managers and mechanical contractors
