We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will be responsible for identifying key new business accounts and driving transformer sales in nominated sales regions throughout the East coast of Queensland.
You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director and work with our transformer manufacturing partner to maximise sales and promote market expansion in Australia.
This position requires a lot of autonomy, self-motivation and perseverance to achieve sales targets and Kip's.
Your responsibilities will include:
Develop sales strategies and tactical plans in line with company strategy
Research and identify projects suited to our current offerings and track timelinesin the projects’ procurement phases
Establish communication channels with key decision makers in target accounts, educate client on our value proposition and provide key interface role between the client and our tendering team
Demonstrate the technical features and advantages of our products to new and existing customers
Assist in the preparation of tenders and the follow-up of client proposals
Prepare for weekly sales meetings with the Managing Director
Make monthly, quarterly and annual market and sales analysis reports
Maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance
Identify new markets and business opportunities by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and competitors
Effectively utilise our cloud-based Customer Relationship Management system to follow sales through to completion
