An excellent opportunity is available to join Groundwork Plus, a long established resource, environmental and land use consultancy, specialising in the quarry and construction materials sector.
Groundwork Plus are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to join our team. The following skills are required:
- Demonstrated experience in the Quarry and Extractive industry
- Minimum 5 to 10+ years experience
- Excellent report writing skills
- Excellent communication skills
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating, development and maintaining a strategic business plan for Groundwork Plus in Victoria
- Actively seeking new opportunities and sales consistent with the strategic direction of the business
- Manage key client relationships and understand client needs and services provided by Groundwork Plus
- Manage a customer relationship management process including sales pipeline
- Preparation of fee estimates and tenders for projects
- Prepare and implement key performance measures for the business
- Manage recruitment of new staff as required
- Meeting project deadlines
- Provision of internal advice to Groundwork Plus and clients where applicable on technical and operational matters relating to the quarry and extractive industry
