Hudson is pleased to work alongside a leading industry high-security products distribution organisation which designs and wholesales innovative hardware and related products predominately to governments and commercial organisations.

The organisation is well established, having been operating for over 13 years. They are expanding due to the high demand for their security hardware products and require an ambitious and mature individual to join their dynamic and progressive team in a full-time role

About the New Role

Based in North Canberra, with an open plan office, you will work under the supervision of the Manager. The position of Business Development Manager (BDM) is an evolving role as the company transitions through its next growth phase. There will be scope to grow in this position in the expanding security industry. While not essential, knowledge and experience in the lock and/or security hardware industry would be seen as an advantage. This position would ideally suit someone with practical experience wanting move into a BDM position with scope for advancement. Training and guidance will be provided to ensure success in this role.

Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Assist the manager to develop and implement strategies to promote the growth and expansion of the company’s core business

Demonstrated willingness to be ‘hands on’ and do what is necessary to maintain the existing high level of customer service standards and delivery

Respond to client enquiries in a timely manner

Effectively manage existing and new client relationships

Ability to undertake additional responsibilities when required

Attend Security Trade Shows when required With demonstrated experience in exemplary customer service and sales, you will be dealing with sensitive information. You must have the ability to learn and adhere to ‘best practice’ policies and procedures adopted by the organisation.
