Our client is a commercial fit out company specialising in high quality interiors with a focus on professionalism, client satisfaction and corporate social responsibility. Launching a new build arm to their business they are currently seeking a strong Business Development Manager to implement creative strategies and assist in driving the business to the next level in the way of commercial fit out builds and new build projects.

With their previous work they have been selected for projects to transform the interior of some of Perth's most prominent and iconic businesses, this company is highly respected and sought after, boasting a portfolio of high profile repeat business. This company has been steadily growing since its establishment fifteen years ago, but has not lost sight of its focus on going above and beyond expectations to achieve quality projects on time and within budget, with all jobs large and small receiving a high level of commitment to excellence.

The role will involve the management of existing clients while establishing new relationships with clients predominantly across the fit-out sector.

The Role

• The identification of business opportunities beneficial to the company and the company group as a whole

• The development of strategies to secure opportunities for the business in the future

• To manage and maintain relationships and liaising effectively with respective architects, clients, designers, business owners and client side Project Managers current clients whilst also developing new relationships with potential clients

• Working alongside and advising the National BD Manager regarding current markets and potential untapped markets

The Requirements

• Have at least 10 years' experience in a Business Development role and at least 5 years' experience in servicing the commercial construction industry (preferably fit-out)

• Proven performance in BD, project management, tendering and project delivery 

• Strong commercial experience, market understanding and entrepreneurial spirit 

• Strong leadership and management skills
