THE COMPANY

A major international player in the water solutions and technology space, who were founded as a business over 120 years ago and are a leading specialist in waste management and water solutions. The company employs over 90,000 staff globally, with over 2,800 of those staff based in the ANZ region. Having recently undergone a record start to 2022, the company now finds themselves seeking to recruit a growth BDM to enhance their presence.

THE ROLE

Based in Sydney or Brisbane you will be working closely with the Senior Manager of the water solutions divisions, you will develop the geographical sales area professionally in line to develop new business and support driving volume growth in existing accounts.

The focus of the role will be to sell our clients range of water solutions (water metering and network analytics with the IOT around it) that provides an analysis of the compliance and effectiveness of the water treatment process. The customer base will be focusing on local councils and water utility companies in NSW & QLD.

Due to the focus on being proactive and productivity, this role will see the successful candidate being given free reign, to better focus and drive territory, making sure to develop and implement strong business and sales strategies to increase both revenue and profits.

Regular travel is required – Many of the target customers being local councils in regional NSW & QLD.

THE CANDIDATE

  • Arriving with a strong technical sales background, you ideally will have sold to the target route to market customer base – water utility companies and/or local councils / authorities
  • Due to the technical nature of our clients solutions applicants that have highly technical sales backgrounds teams will be looked upon favorably.
  • You may arrive with a background in selling a range of different products all may be suitable (industrial products – instrumentation, pumps, valves, decanters, actuators, pneumatics, hydraulics OR a tech based solution – SaaS, IoT, telco etc).

For the right candidate, our client is offering up to 170k Base + Fully Maintained Vehicle + Commission + Super.
