About the role
This is an exciting career opportunity for an experienced Branch Manager to join the Big River team and manage two Brisbane branches that add significant revenue profit for the business. Reporting to the Regional Manager- Qld, the Branch Manager responsibilities will include but not limited to, executing company strategy, managing people, driving profitable sales and growth with overall accountability for the business financial performance.
To be successful in this role, you will have extensive experience of running multi-site operations within a distribution network, be a strong hands-on leader, confident decision maker, sales focused and possess the ability to develop and mentor people, whilst ensuring the profitability of the business.
Align all areas of the business with company strategy.
Drive sustainable operational and financial performance.
Develop processes and procedures to increase efficiency.
Identify business opportunities with new and existing customers.
Support and develop staff performance.
Strong focus on alignment between SEQ branches.
Skills and Experience;
Proven track record as a Branch Manager of a large distribution business managing a team of 20 + employees.
Extensive operations and supply chain experience with multi-site operations.
Knowledge of business processes (financial, HR, operations)
Strong analytical ability.
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
Demonstrated experience of developing a high performing team.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in planning and budgeting.
Post graduate qualifications desirable.
