Due to sustained business growth, a role within their executive team has been created for an experienced Building Services professional with a passion for stakeholder management and project delivery to drive their Advisory team.

Employed as an Associate Director, you will lead the building services division and manage and foster the growth of client relationships with complete autonomy, driving this firms continued growth in Victoria and ensuring clients and projects are consistently offered bespoke, clever solutions.

Your key responsibilities

Identification and acquisition of new strategic clients whilst fostering the growth of existing accounts by developing and enhancing relationships at multiple organisational levels

Championing the development, coordination and quality of proposals and project submissions inline with company values and client expectations

Oversee the delivery and client satisfaction on all projects awarded

Be an integral part of the development of the company capabilities and driving the continuous improvement in existing offerings to achieve desirable outcomes in environmental sustainability and built environment energy efficiency

Providing leadership and mentoring teams which can include holding workshops, presentations and facilitation of events and industry speakers

Maintain a high level of specialist knowledge in built environment sustainability, including building services engineering, clean energy, asset management, public policy, relevant technologies and/or market trends  

What will make you successful in this role

Experience in a leadership capacity within an engineering consultancy, project management firm or construction company with a strong background in engineering services

Well established industry experience in delivering building services projects and demonstrated ability to autonomously manage the development and deployment of business projects or initiatives

Proven experience in managing budgets and P&L for business units

The ability to engage, motivate, collaborate and liaise with all multidisciplinary teams.

Business development and key account management experience

Outstanding interpersonal skills, with strong presence and the natural ability to build long-lasting relationships

Strong decision-making skills; open, confident, and persuasive, with excellent presentation and listening abilities.

The desire and capability to continue the scaling of an established and successful business unit

A tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar field in Building Services
