About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a Strategic Asset Manager, reporting to the Project Account Manager for a state-wide portfolio.
You will be responsible for the strategic maintenance ensuring that maintenance schedules are developed in line with ISO55001 and Australian Standards. As a senior leader in the contract team, you will be required to mentor and manage to ensure a high standard of operations and client satisfaction.
Duties include but not limited to:
Maintain and update component registers and maintain service records
Ensure annual certification and fire safety statements are recorded and submitted
Ensure that maintenance work orders are raised to the appropriate subcontractors
Adjust planned maintenance schedules to introduce or maximise efficiencies without compromising maintenance or regulatory compliance integrity whilst maintaining optimal lifecycle performance
Drive tactical and operational guidance, ensuring asset management outcomes are effectively implemented across the portfolio
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a similar Strategic Asset Manager role for a large distributed portfolio with remote management operations.
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to work as part of a team as well as managing your own workload and be able to lead a culture of “safety and health above all else” and be environmentally responsible.
You will have:
Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Asset Management or Business
Minimum of 8 years’ experience in position which provided base of technical proficiency and accountability for results in a similar sized contract
Senior level management experience in FM services industry
Proven experience in the management of a large portfolio of assets
Broad experience in the building/service industry and knowledge of building and service regulations and statutory obligations
Highly developed general business management skills, including finance and computer literacy
Proven leadership and interpersonal skills and the ability to train, coach and develop staff
Highly articulate, with effective oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to give sound advice to management
