Method Consulting is seeking three (3) Contract Administrators for three (3) busy and well-established builders who are located in both the NOR and SOR.

These roles are all newly created opportunities in companies who are growing so the sky is the limit. Our clients pipeline of projects typically ranges between $500K and $15M in value and can involve full build, refurbishment and Fitout, one-off large residential and some minor works.

Responsibilities:

  • Selecting and reviewing suppliers and subcontractors
  • Negotiate and prepare contracts
  • Manage, liaise and coordinate subcontractors
  • Provide accurate and timely submission of progress, variation & contractual claims
  • Manage RFI’s to Clients, Architects and Consultants
  • Work closely with Site Management and Management team
  • Budget management and reporting
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time and on cost
  • Stakeholder management

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Proven track record in commercial, refurbishment and fitout projects
  • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret Architectural drawings
  • Strong financial acumen
  • High level of planning and organisational skills
  • Proven ability to self-manage workflow and demonstrate initiative
  • Must be able to work as a team and in autonomy 
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High level of emotional intelligence and understanding of team dynamics
  • Must be good under pressure
  • Strong IT skills – can be WORKBENCH, CHEOPS and EXCEL
