ABOUT THE ROLE


PERSOLKELLY are in partnership with one of our local government clients and are looking for Product Development Manager to join their team in Burwood location. The Product Development Manager is responsible for supporting the development process for products and information at various sites to enhance the customer experience.


KEY DELIVERABLES


Complete procurement process and be the technical subject matter expert for Digital wayfinding, compiling all necessary scope and technical specification and support the Procurement team through the process to award.

  1. Support the award vendor in digital wayfinding to finalise design system architecture, lead the process through system integrity review and cyber security review, formation and finalisation of the Technical Maintenance Plan and support the stakeholder engagement with Station staff and Facilities Management through the Configuration Change management process
  2. Oversee the design development through to prototype and final proof of new asset structure, coordinate different discipline review and lead on any required changes.
  3. Complete industry research, quality compliance certification review of internal LED lights compliant with the relevant National and transport technical standards, and author the product technical review report (including life cycle financial analysis).


KEY CHALLENGES

  • Coordination interdisciplinary review and stakeholder management.
  • Brownfield operation in digital as well as built environment.
  • Coordination of Industry workshops to support and influence quality uplift in product design.
  • Author technical review reports.


ESSENTIAL REQUIRMENTS

  • Subject matter expert in Digital wayfinding systems and design.
  • Subject matter expertise in Material science/material properties.
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering, architecture and business administration, with a minimum of 10 years' multi-disciplinary engineering experience.
  • High level of communication skills both verbally and in technical specification writing.
