ABOUT THE ROLE
Our client has an opportunity for a skilled Project Specialist & Internal Sales to join their team. If you are looking for your next role, want to join a business that values its people, and are passionate about making a substantial impact in the construction industry, then this role is for you!
The position on offer is full time, with working hours of 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday, and 8am-3pm Friday. This role is onsite at the company headquarters in Shepparton. Alongside the base salary and superannuation, you will receive tools of trade.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 3+ years consultative sales experience within the construction (or similar) industry.
- Skilled in lead generation and successfully navigating sales process, from quoting to closure of the sale.
- Ability to read architectural drawings.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a client-centered approach.
- Technical mind with the ability to influence client relationships.
- Ability to navigate and effectively utilize CRM systems.
- Diligent and proactive attitude.
- Problem solving.
- Exposure to cladding and batten products sold via the commercial and architectural community would be desirable.
- Fluent in English.
- Specification sales experience with architects and designers, residential and commercial builders (preferred).
- Exposure to cladding and batten products sold via the commercial and architectural community would be highly desirable.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
These duties include but are not limited to:
- Follow each project from start to finish, tracking progress and ensuring no opportunities are lost.
- Read project drawings and extract crucial information to create accurate quotes.
- Build and manage pipelines, leveraging CRM tools to track leads, monitor progress and ensure seamless follow ups.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, architects, and key stakeholders.
- Assist clients by taking the time to understand their project needs and recommending innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all clients.
- Stay up to date with innovations, new technologies and opportunities in the construction industry.
