What is Projectory?

Projectory is a subscription-based information service that saves industrial equipment manufacturers or suppliers and service-providers time and money sourcing opportunities and contacts for major projects in Australia.

Our mission is to provide news on the planning and development of major resource, construction, energy, infrastructure and defence projects in Australia typically worth more than $AUD30million.

We aim to achieve our mission by delivering accurate, timely, reliable and essential intelligence on major project developments – essentially ‘must-have’ information.

What information do you provide?

Our content mainly focuses on the latest developments in major projects in Australia typically worth more than $AUD30million. In addition, each article highlights the project:

  • type;
  • capital expenditure;
  • project developer or proponent;
  • project manager and/or procurement manager and/or project director - and their contact details
  • contracting arrangement i.e. Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC); Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management (EPCM); Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI); Build Own Operate (BOO), Build Own Operate or Transfer (BOOT) etc
  • contractor
  • key milestones - such as tenders or calls for expressions of interest for equipment and services
  • employment opportunities
  • key dates i.e. start of construction date, commissioning date

Where do you get your information?

Content is mainly based on interviews with project managers, project developers and project proponents. We don’t rely on press releases.

Who manages content?

Content is managed by our publisher and editor-in-chief Jamie Wade.

Jamie has more than 15 years experience in journalism and publishing with a focus on industrial business-to-business ‘b2b’ markets.

He has worked for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia ‘CCI’ as a project information Officer for the widely respected service ‘REPS’ – the Resource & Energy Projects Service.

Jamie has also worked for Reed Business Information – Australia’s leading and largest b2b publisher – as a journalist, editor and most recently associate publisher of various industrial publications including Australian Mining, Construction Contractor,Manufacturers’ Monthly, FEN (Factory Equipment News), PACE, Electronics News, Food, Packaging and Logistics. He has also overseen content management of a number of vertical websites in the industrial b2b market.

How often is content updated?

Content on the Projectory site is added and updated weekly.

The Projectory e-newsletter is distributed daily Monday to Friday. You can choose from either an HTML or text version.

Each e-newsletter has abstracts of all articles posted on the site since the last e-newsletter was distributed.

Each abstract in the newsletter links to the article on our site.

Access to content is password protected, so you will need to enter your username and password when accessing the site.

What’s unique about your service? – Why should I subscribe?

Projectory covers a broad spectrum of projects in Australia; content is not limited to states, regions or territories or limited to specific project types.

Content focuses on the early planning of a major project, specifically: when, where and how equipment and services will be procured for that project.

Every attempt is made where possible and where appropriate to disclose within each report the contact details of the project manager, project director or procurement manager.

Under the site’s Capability Directory, subscribers can highlight the equipment and services they offer in the development, maintenance or operation of major projects by choosing from more than 130 product and service categories – cross-referenced against equipment manufacturers, service providers and suppliers, hire equipment suppliers and more

Each directory listing includes: the subscriber’s contact details and services offered; track record; scope of equipment; brands offered; accreditations and awards or accolades; areas serviced; number of employees; and annual turnover.

Relevant articles are linked to each subscriber’s profile; for example, if an article appears about a subscriber winning a contract to provide equipment and/or services to a major project it will appear alongside the subscriber’s profile.

A subscription to Projectory is highly competitive compared to similar services.

  • the Projectory e-newsletters with updates on the latest major project developments; and
  • a listing on the Projectory Capability Directory to highlight capabilities, company record, accreditation and key contacts.

How do I subscribe?

You can safely and securely subscribe on our site using you credit card details and receive instant access to content.

You can also pay by cheque, but access to the site will only be given once the cheque has cleared.

Can I subscribe others to Projectory?

There is a limit of 16 users per subscribing company that can access content on Projectory or receive our eNewsletter. However, only the subscriber/administrator can modify the number of users that can access content and receive the eNewsletter; this must be submitted to us in writing by the subscriber/administrator.

Please note: only employees can be added to access content on Projectory.com.au. It is a breach of Projectory's subscription terms to add people that are not employees of the subscribing company or its subsidiaries.

Authorised users will select a username - or we’ll provide them with one - and we’ll issue them with a password, which they may then modify at any time.
